Little Astronomer is geared towards children ages 7-9. It is an information picture book that has fun characters of planets, moons, asteroids and a comet. Most of the characters narrate about themselves and reveal unique facts.
The book explores the solar system in a full illustrated layout. It encourages young children with early interest in Astronomy.
Each planet is portrayed according to their names, which are based from mythological gods and goddesses from Greece and Hawaii.
The facts are updated to include dwarf planets, other than the eight primary planets.
